Frequently asked questions
Do you offer mini sessions? How much are they?
Mini sessions are offered on select dates every 1 to 2 months. These are offered either at an outdoor location of my choice or a studio in Lincoln. They are typically 20 minute sessions and start at $200. I will usually post these on my instagram story, but you can reach out to me at anytime so I can add you to my waitlist when I open up dates!
How far in advance should I book my session with you?
For regular portrait sessions, a sweet spot is 8-12 weeks in advance. However, if you have specific dates in mind or if you're planning for a special occasion, booking as soon as you can would be the most ideal to ensure availability! For weddings, I recommend booking at a minimum of 9-12 months out to guarantee that your date is available, especially if it falls during peak wedding season. With all that being said, it never hurts to reach out last minute in case I still have availability!
Do you require a deposit?
In order to secure your date, a non-refundable 30% retainer + any studio fees (if applicable) and contract must be completed within 7 days of request If the date you are inquiring about is within the next 30 days, retainer/contract must be fulfilled within 48 hours.
How long does it take to receive my final edited photos?
For regular portrait sessions, full galleries are delivered within 4 weeks. Wedding gallery turnaround times are within 10 weeks.
Do you travel for sessions?
Yes! This year my dates available for travel will be limited due to my son still being so little. Fees may apply depending on the location and duration of the session. Please contact me for more information to discuss your specific needs!
How are photos delivered?
All final galleries are delivered via email through an online gallery which includes all high resolution digital photos.
Do you retouch photos?
My editing process includes a basic retouch that addresses small imperfections such as blemishes, minor flyaway hairs, and minimal touch-ups for skin tone consistency. However, I refrain from cosmetic enhancements such as removing wrinkles or altering body proportions. It's important to me that the photos authentically reflect my clients' appearances!
